Fun with Jesus - Building a Snowman

Jesus: Let’s go build that snowman. [See Introduction.]

Jesus blew on the snow to make it pack easier.

Me: How big do we make it?
Jesus: How big would you like?

Me: I don’t know, what’s wisest?
Jesus: Glad you asked. You’re learning.

Me: [eye roll] It looks to me like it is going to take a lot of rolling. [feeling tired]
Jesus: It does.

Me: [sighing] Is there an easy way?
Jesus: We could ask for angelic help.

Me: Now that’s a great idea!! You ask and I’ll watch them do the grunt work.
Jesus: See why I need you to be in the Season of Rest?

Me: Yep. OR You could give me what I need to do this.
Jesus: You like watching angels.

Me: I do.
Jesus: So we’ll compromise. We’ll ask angels to make the bottom piece. I’ll do the middle and you do the head.

Me: Sounds good to me. By the way, why are snowmen in three pieces?
Jesus: Because I made them that way.

[I sat in a comfy, warm chair drinking a cup of hot chocolate that never seemed to run low, watching three angels roll out and set the bottom piece. While Jesus stood and directed them. He blew on the ground and created more snow. The angels would then roll the ball over it, packing the snow. Then Jesus would blow more snow on the dryer area. They did this back and forth until the ball was done. The ball was up to their shoulders. When it was set in place, I stood and we all stepped back and admired it.

Me: “Nice job!”
Jesus: My turn. [The angels disappeared. I sat back and watched. Jesus took a snowflake and blew on it. It grew and grew in His hand to the size of a bowling ball. He gently placed it on the ground. He looked at me and winked. I chuckled. Jesus blew on the ball to make it move and it collected more snow.] When it was large enough, Jesus asked, “Want to help Me put it on the bottom piece?”

[I stood and helped Him. We stepped back to examine our creation so far. We were satisfied.]

Jesus: Now, your turn.
Me: Can I do what You did?
Jesus: Sure.
Me: [I did.] “Wow! Nice!!”

Jesus: [chuckling] “Now you can decorate it.] He gave me tools for engraving and paints.
Me: [I engraved the snowman then painted it. The part that was taller than me was in easy reach.] This is amazing!

Jesus: [Laughing] It is! Fun, isn’t it?!

We stepped back to examine and admire it.

Me: This is beautiful! We are going to have to name it when we are done.
Jesus: I agree.

Me: Now what?
Jesus: We start at the bottom again. [Black shiny boots materialized and put in place.]
Me: That’s fine.

[Gold buttons, mahogany arms, gemstones for mouth, a shiny carrot for a nose. Fathomless eyes, and a floppy hat.

We stood back to examine… and admire.]
Me: Oh, and a pipe! [A pipe appeared.] Excellent! Time for a name.

Jesus: Frosty?
Me: No. That’s taken.
Jesus: Bob?
Me: No, too short. I’d like him to have a longer name.
Jesus: Okay…. [He tapped His chin, thinking.] How about Sir Snowman?
Me: I like it. We can build an entire Snow family!
Jesus: Yes, we could, but later.

Me: Madam SnowLady, Sweet SnowChild.…

Jesus: [Laughing] I see you get the idea.

[Later, I felt bad about leaving Father and Holy Spirit out of our building time. Father said that He and Holy Spirit were also there. Oneness. My focus was solely on Jesus. Good to know, now I don’t feel so bad.)

Two Perspectives

Two Perspectives:  The Lord said:  “ONE:   Look up at Me with confidence that all will turn out well or TWO:   fussing and worrying and fretting.   You chose.   Many people don’t know there is another alternative to the worry and fretting perspective… and where does that leave them?   What kind of life do they have?   TRUST Me!” Which one do you do the most? Fun with Jesus - Gingerbread House

Fun with Jesus – Gingerbread House     Jesus was playing Peek-a-Boo with me in a Gingerbread house.     I’m outside watching Jesus peek at me through a window then disappear only to poke His head out through a different window.   Jesus flew up the chimney, quickly opened a door, looked out at me then closed it.   Jesus:   Come on inside. [Inside is adorable.   Gingerbread-ish.]   Jesus:   Come on.   We flew up to the 2 nd story loft and looked down. Me:   This is… unusual. Jesus:   [laughed] Me:   I like it. Jesus:   So do I.   Jesus goes into the kitchen, opens the oven and pulls out a cookie sheet with gingerbread cookies on it. Jesus:   Would you like one? Me: Yes, but aren’t they hot? Jesus:   Blow on it. Me:   [I blew, instantly cooled.   I took a bite.]    Delicious; crunchy, soft, chewy, spicy. Jesus:   Glad you like i...

Flowers

I read, ‘It’s (flowers) as if a rainbow touches the earth.’ The Lord interrupted my reading to ask, “Why do you think I made flowers?” Me:  So the saying, ‘stop and smell the flowers’ is true? God:  {sensed Him smiling}   I made them to be enjoyed ALL of them, even the stinkier ones and the ones some consider ugly.  They ALL have a purpose.  Remember ‘the Language of Flowers’?  Notice that most of the language is of love and happiness. Then He handed me a bouquet of flowers. Taken from Wikipedia:  The significance assigned to specific flowers in Western culture varied — nearly every flower had multiple associations, listed in the hundreds of floral dictionaries — but a consensus of meaning for common blooms has emerged. Often, definitions derive from the appearance or behavior of the plant itself. For example, the mimosa , or sensitive plant, represents chastity. This is because the leaves of the mimosa clo...
