Praise as Warfare: What the Evil One doesn't want you to know!

Praise as warfare:  What the Evil One doesn’t want you to know!

While preparing this blog, I encountered spiritual warfare.  Evidently the evil one doesn’t want me to post this conversation I had with God.

Me:  I read, ‘nothing terrifies the devil and his demons like praise’.   Is this true, Lord?

God:  It doesn’t terrify them.  However, it IS a reminder, a tool for warfare and it does thwart them.

Me:  I also read, ‘constant praise wards off depression, disappointments, despair’  Is this true?

God:  Yes, remember the scripture, ‘Think on these things’? Because it keeps your mind where it should be.  I have provided for My people.  However, many choose not to.  It IS their choice. They either pick up the ‘tool’ and use it or not.

Me:  Is Biblical praise more powerful than ‘regular’ praise?

God:  Yes, because it uses the Word of God.  The enemy understands it more, especially if you are using it for a weapon.

They don’t like any type of praise towards Me.  However they will endure it. Some flee; others don’t.  The territorial demons endure.  It takes more than just praise to Me to make them go.

Remember, Dear Readers ~ we are first to submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Some things to learn from this:  1) Don’t assume that everything you read is correct.  2) Realize that there IS a battle going on and God IS giving us the weapons 3) Know the Bible.

Does this help you fight better?

Do you listen to praise music at home, in the car, at work?

Two Perspectives

Two Perspectives:  The Lord said:  “ONE:   Look up at Me with confidence that all will turn out well or TWO:   fussing and worrying and fretting.   You chose.   Many people don’t know there is another alternative to the worry and fretting perspective… and where does that leave them?   What kind of life do they have?   TRUST Me!” Which one do you do the most? Fun with Jesus - Gingerbread House

Fun with Jesus – Gingerbread House     Jesus was playing Peek-a-Boo with me in a Gingerbread house.     I’m outside watching Jesus peek at me through a window then disappear only to poke His head out through a different window.   Jesus flew up the chimney, quickly opened a door, looked out at me then closed it.   Jesus:   Come on inside. [Inside is adorable.   Gingerbread-ish.]   Jesus:   Come on.   We flew up to the 2 nd story loft and looked down. Me:   This is… unusual. Jesus:   [laughed] Me:   I like it. Jesus:   So do I.   Jesus goes into the kitchen, opens the oven and pulls out a cookie sheet with gingerbread cookies on it. Jesus:   Would you like one? Me: Yes, but aren’t they hot? Jesus:   Blow on it. Me:   [I blew, instantly cooled.   I took a bite.]    Delicious; crunchy, soft, chewy, spicy. Jesus:   Glad you like i...

Flowers

I read, ‘It’s (flowers) as if a rainbow touches the earth.’ The Lord interrupted my reading to ask, “Why do you think I made flowers?” Me:  So the saying, ‘stop and smell the flowers’ is true? God:  {sensed Him smiling}   I made them to be enjoyed ALL of them, even the stinkier ones and the ones some consider ugly.  They ALL have a purpose.  Remember ‘the Language of Flowers’?  Notice that most of the language is of love and happiness. Then He handed me a bouquet of flowers. Taken from Wikipedia:  The significance assigned to specific flowers in Western culture varied — nearly every flower had multiple associations, listed in the hundreds of floral dictionaries — but a consensus of meaning for common blooms has emerged. Often, definitions derive from the appearance or behavior of the plant itself. For example, the mimosa , or sensitive plant, represents chastity. This is because the leaves of the mimosa clo...
