The very flamboyant mother was having a blast. While the modest/refined daughter was stressing and fuming about her mother’s antics. The mother’s values and desires versus the daughter’s values and desires.
What about God’s desires for them? If they could discern or at least trust God, wouldn’t they both be happier, more content? What if God’s destiny for the mother IS her flamboyance? Then the daughter is wasting energy and going against what God wants. Interesting, isn’t it?
The Lord said, “Oh, My people! Learn!
Discern! Apply your faith in Me
and STOP all the fussing, the emotional waste of energy trying to go against
what I am doing! I am a Great God. Follow Me, My plan, My desires for you and for
others.
What’s it to you? Maintain your peace. Walk your destiny.”
Do you think that being flamboyant
is a good thing? Sometimes called for?
