Who's Perspective?

Last week, we found an ‘expired’ cat out by our mailbox.  I thought it was a sad, evil situation.  After calming down, I went to the Lord about it.  He said it wasn’t evil. That He purposely placed the cat on our property because He knew we would take good care of it.

This week, we are experiencing smoke from the wildfires and a heavy fog.  It’s dark and gloomy here…stressful and depressing.  After calming down, I went to the Lord about it.  He said the heavy fog wasn’t a bad thing; that the fog was keeping the smoke at bay.

THEN, my husband noticed that on a $20 bill, right hand side, the #20 is in gold, but when holding the bill differently, the #20 is in green.

Finally, I asked the Lord, “What are You trying to tell me?”

He said, “Look to Me.  Ask for My perspective.”

So, when something seems bad or wrong (especially now -a-days), ask Him for His perspective.  It will help.

Does this make sense?

Two Perspectives

Two Perspectives:  The Lord said:  “ONE:   Look up at Me with confidence that all will turn out well or TWO:   fussing and worrying and fretting.   You chose.   Many people don’t know there is another alternative to the worry and fretting perspective… and where does that leave them?   What kind of life do they have?   TRUST Me!” Which one do you do the most? Is it easy or difficult for you to choose #1? ~~ “This Really Happened” at books2read.com/u/mZ5ALy and “REAL Conversations with God” at www.books2read.com/u/mgLPqx (You might also enjoy checking out Elisabella’s Books on Facebook, there’s been a change-up.)

Fun with Jesus - Gingerbread House

Fun with Jesus – Gingerbread House     Jesus was playing Peek-a-Boo with me in a Gingerbread house.     I’m outside watching Jesus peek at me through a window then disappear only to poke His head out through a different window.   Jesus flew up the chimney, quickly opened a door, looked out at me then closed it.   Jesus:   Come on inside. [Inside is adorable.   Gingerbread-ish.]   Jesus:   Come on.   We flew up to the 2 nd story loft and looked down. Me:   This is… unusual. Jesus:   [laughed] Me:   I like it. Jesus:   So do I.   Jesus goes into the kitchen, opens the oven and pulls out a cookie sheet with gingerbread cookies on it. Jesus:   Would you like one? Me: Yes, but aren’t they hot? Jesus:   Blow on it. Me:   [I blew, instantly cooled.   I took a bite.]    Delicious; crunchy, soft, chewy, spicy. Jesus:   Glad you like i...

Flowers

I read, ‘It’s (flowers) as if a rainbow touches the earth.’ The Lord interrupted my reading to ask, “Why do you think I made flowers?” Me:  So the saying, ‘stop and smell the flowers’ is true? God:  {sensed Him smiling}   I made them to be enjoyed ALL of them, even the stinkier ones and the ones some consider ugly.  They ALL have a purpose.  Remember ‘the Language of Flowers’?  Notice that most of the language is of love and happiness. Then He handed me a bouquet of flowers. Taken from Wikipedia:  The significance assigned to specific flowers in Western culture varied — nearly every flower had multiple associations, listed in the hundreds of floral dictionaries — but a consensus of meaning for common blooms has emerged. Often, definitions derive from the appearance or behavior of the plant itself. For example, the mimosa , or sensitive plant, represents chastity. This is because the leaves of the mimosa clo...
