On a Diet or thinking about going on a Diet? Read this!





 

Seems like just about everyone I know is on a diet or trying to lose a few pounds.   Everyone also seems to be so frustrated with the process.  So, I went to prayer.



This is what the Lord says:



“Losing weight is a problem for many people.  They try so hard on their own to lose.  However, they don’t look to Me for help.  Many Christians who call on Me, do NOT call on Me to help them lose the extra weight.



I am in every circumstance. I am in every moment.  AND I care.  I want My people to be healthy and strong.  I want My people to feel better about themselves.  They NEED to come to Me.  I will help them.  I am able and willing.”



Does this help?

It helped me by taking the pressure off me to DO.

Praise as warfare:  What the Evil One doesn’t want you to know! While preparing this blog, I encountered spiritual warfare.  Evidently the evil one doesn’t want me to post this conversation I had with God. Me:  I read, ‘nothing terrifies the devil and his demons like praise’.   Is this true, Lord?  God:  It doesn’t terrify them.  However, it IS a reminder, a tool for warfare and it does thwart them. Me:  I also read, ‘constant praise wards off depression, disappointments, despair’  Is this true? God:  Yes, remember the scripture, ‘Think on these things’? Fun with Jesus - Gingerbread House

Fun with Jesus – Gingerbread House     Jesus was playing Peek-a-Boo with me in a Gingerbread house.     I’m outside watching Jesus peek at me through a window then disappear only to poke His head out through a different window.   Jesus flew up the chimney, quickly opened a door, looked out at me then closed it.   Jesus:   Come on inside. [Inside is adorable.   Gingerbread-ish.]   Jesus:   Come on.   We flew up to the 2 nd story loft and looked down. Me:   This is… unusual. Jesus:   [laughed] Me:   I like it. Jesus:   So do I.   Jesus goes into the kitchen, opens the oven and pulls out a cookie sheet with gingerbread cookies on it. Jesus:   Would you like one? Me: Yes, but aren’t they hot?
