Prayer Journals?









What exactly is a Prayer Journal?  Have you heard of it?   Does one actually write prayers in it?



Do you write down what God says to you? 



What do you write it in?



I’ve tried to rename my journal.  Looking at what I write in mine, it is not prayers.  It is writing down what God is saying.  His words.   So, I tried to call it a LOVE journal, but that doesn’t quite work.



What do you call yours?



What do you use??



I first started using a steno pad (it’s the secretary training in me).  Then, since I adore composition books, I have used them.  Each has its benefits and drawbacks.  I’m still searching.



Do you ever go back and re-read what you wrote?  I’ve done this and compiled a few ebooks with God’s permission… when I can decipher my scribbles.  lol

Praise as warfare:  What the Evil One doesn’t want you to know! While preparing this blog, I encountered spiritual warfare.  Evidently the evil one doesn’t want me to post this conversation I had with God. Me:  I read, ‘nothing terrifies the devil and his demons like praise’.   Is this true, Lord?  God:  It doesn’t terrify them.  However, it IS a reminder, a tool for warfare and it does thwart them. Me:  I also read, ‘constant praise wards off depression, disappointments, despair’  Is this true? God:  Yes, remember the scripture, ‘Think on these things’? Fun with Jesus - Gingerbread House

Fun with Jesus – Gingerbread House     Jesus was playing Peek-a-Boo with me in a Gingerbread house.     I’m outside watching Jesus peek at me through a window then disappear only to poke His head out through a different window.   Jesus flew up the chimney, quickly opened a door, looked out at me then closed it.   Jesus:   Come on inside. [Inside is adorable.   Gingerbread-ish.]   Jesus:   Come on.   We flew up to the 2 nd story loft and looked down. Me:   This is… unusual. Jesus:   [laughed] Me:   I like it.
