It's a Christian thing!

Something fun! One of the songs on my favorite praise CD is about how there is no one like our God.     My reaction some of the times is, “like duh!”    So, I created a short list of understatements about God.   The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines understatements to be:   a statement that represents something as smaller or less intense. ·        God is good .   Exodus 33:19   And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord , in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. ·        God is love.   1 John 4:8   Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love . ·        God is magnificent.   Psalm 145:3-5   God is magnificent ; he ...

  I read, “A man of strength who knew how to wisely use it!” Ah yes, speaking from a woman’s point of view.   {Happy sigh.} There is outer strength and inner strength for both men and women. This is what the Lord said, “I made Man strong, to protect, to use.  However, some have gone astray. Remember, there are all kinds of strength.  Remember also that I am your strength.” Are you being wise with your strength?
