Thinking it is time to get right with God? or not?

All you have to do is:  1) Admit your sins; 2) Repent of them; 3) Ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior; 4) Surrender your life (all that you are and all that you are not) to Him; 5) Ask Him to baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fill you with power. What would the results be after getting saved? ~ This is what the Lord says: “You would be amazed at what I can do through you.  Your life would no longer be your own.  I would be pleased.  Very-well pleased.  I have many plans for you.  Wonderful, enjoyable plans that I can now activate.” ~ And ~ “Once you believe and receive Me, you become sanctified and holy.  That’s what many New Believers feel at first.” ~ See Hebrews 10:10 I asked this question on my Facebook page: How did you FEEL after you got right with the Lord/God? I received these replies:    ·        I felt like a ...

Surrender? Who me??

Me:  Why can’t I just live a good life the way I want then go to Heaven when it is time?  Why do I have to surrender? God:  You don’t.  Many of My people don’t surrender, yet they believe in Me.  Look at it this way:  you are giving up (to Me) your pennies for nuggets of gold. Me:  Oh, well then…. How are you doing with living the surrendered life? (To learn more, see Elisabella’s Books on Facebook.)

How to 'Cruise in the Spirit'?

Carissa Hansen needs to give a message from the Lord to famous singer, Carlos Pasqualetto. In order to do so, she must go on the same cruise where he is performing. Giving the message to him leads to a few surprises, adventures, and a bit of intrigue--on and off the ship bound for Mexico. Carlos Pasqualetto’s career is in crisis.  While pondering the message, he is even more perplexed by his growing feelings for Carissa. Having taken a Vow of Celibacy, he is an innocent in the way of male-female relationships.  What does the message mean?  Will his Vow of Celibacy get in the way of God’s plans for him? And why does the Midnight Chocolate buffet start at 11:30? This is what God can do when people are willing to set aside their own agendas to follow Him as their first priority. Talk: more or less?

Have you noticed that the more you grow closer to the Lord, the less talking you do?  I’ve noticed this in my life.  Have you noticed it in yours? For example:  I find out that God hates grumbling, so I stop grumbling. Then, I find out that God hates gossip, so I stop gossiping. I also discovered that it is easier to let the small annoyances go, so I don’t say anything.  (Which prompted to blog about this subject.) Are you possibly quieter, more peaceful so you don’t feel the need to talk as much? Or you pray and silently talk to God more, so we don’t have to talk out loud.  i.e. telling Him our problems, concerns, etc instead of talking to people? Are we praising more instead of talking? Spending more time with Him than with people? Am I correct?  And, when you talk, has your conversation or words changed?  (You might enjoy checking out ...
